Nobody was bothered by my age or my previous qualifications or even the gap in learning years. The program taught me the value of learning well, without any restrictions.
The program not only equipped me with technical skills but also instilled in me a sense of empowerment.
I did not know any of the programming languages that I so easily use now to build projects. In fact, I can confidently work alongside degree holders at the internship I secured because of the program.
I had forgotten how to believe in myself. I had resigned to my fate and felt quite purposeless after dropping out of school. CPIT inspired me to believe that I too can achieve something.
After seeing my interest and work in the program, my mother believes that I can make something of my life now. This is my biggest medal.
I could not believe such things existed. The things that I saw during our campus visits and learnt through our interactions with professionals were unimaginable. Being in the same space as them opened a whole new world of possibilities for me.
The way I am speaking to you now in English, I could not have done that before. This makes me happy when I can hold my own, and express myself without limitations.
