1. Who can participate in the program?
Participant needs to meet the following criteria to be eligible to enrol in program
  • Participant has cleared Class X exam
  • Participant has dropped out from further education for a maximum of 2 years – i.e. students who have completed Class X & dropped out from formal education in 2020 or 2021

There is no fee to participate in the program. However, the participants must ensure active participation through attendance and monthly assessments score cut-offs to be able to complete the program. Detailed guidelines will be made available at the start of program. Any deviations from guidelines can lead to disqualification from program.
Yes, this is a full-time program for 18 months. Participants are expected to report daily from Monday – Friday at nodal training centres from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Some classes might be even conducted on weekends as required in the program.
The program is conducted at two locations – Dharwad and Hyderabad. For both locations, we have nodal training centres where the training will be imparted to students. Students can select either of the location (Dharwad or Hyderabad) during registration. Once selected students will not be allowed to change the locations.
For each of the location, there are 100 seats for participants. Participants during registration can choose their preference of the center either in Dharwad or Hyderabad
The program will be of total 18 months in duration since the start. These 18 months will be divided into two parts
  • 15 months of classroom training program to train participants in technical and professional skills, followed by,
  • 3 months of project based internship with mentorship from industry / subject matter expert
Participants are expected to have
  • completed Class X examinations and will have knowledge levels at the level to participate in program.
  • Basic English and local language (Kannada or Telugu) literacy to be able to read and write
  • Basic logical and mathematical skills
For registration no documents are required, participants can directly fill the form to register themselves. During the admission process, participants will be required to submit the copies following documents
  • Aadhar Card
  • Class X Marksheets
  • Bank Account Details
The above list is indicative – more documents might be required at the time of admission. All of it will be communicated to participants in advance.
Financial aid is monthly monetary support provided to participants in the program to support themselves during the program. It is provided at fixed INR 4000 per month subject to active participation in the program. More details will be shared post enrolment and selection

Note: Financial Aid is provided to aid the students to support themselves during program. It will be provided subject to participant fulfilling the criteria of active participation in the program monitored through attendance, monthly assessments etc. Detailed guidelines for the same will be made available to students at start of program to ensure transparency. Program stakeholders reserve the right to discontinue the financial aid if the participant fails to meet the criteria/guidelines shared
Financial aid will be disbursed monthly on a pre-defined date. It will be disbursed after completion of the month directly to the participant’s bank account.
At a broad level, participants will be trained on fundamental technical and non-technical skills to be able to pursue a career in Information Technology (IT). The program will offer two specializations – (1) Full Stack Web Development and (2) Hardware Support Services. Please refer course outlines for detailed curriculum
Classes will be conducted in majorly conducted in offline mode at the respective nodal center of the program. Some classes and mentoring sessions will be conducted in online mode at the nodal center. Participants are expected to report everyday at the nodal center from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Details for the center will be communicated to participants upon selection
The medium of instruction will be English. However, trainers will be leverage local languages in classroom to enable quicker learning
Yes, the participants will be provided with relevant course material – like presentations, lab manuals etc. to refer during the program. It will be provided in soft copy format to all participants.
Following are the steps involved for the admission in program
  • Step 1: Participant registers for the program
  • Step 2: Participant participates in an aptitude/ baseline evaluation test. Details of the same will be shared after all the registrations are completed
  • Step 3: Participants are selected and invited to an orientation Bootcamp
    • Parents/Guardians will be invited to ensure they too are aware of the program
    • Participants might be counselled during the camp about the program
  • Step 4: Participants will be formally admitted into the program and issued admission letters.
The above process is indicative and any changes in the above process will be communicated to participants in advance.
We will conduct a baseline evaluation for the program. It is not an entrance examination rather it is conducted to access the student’s aptitude. The students will be selected based on their performance.
The evaluation will be conducted in the nodal center and will be a pen and paper evaluation. The evaluation will be of 90 minutes in duration with Multiple choice question format. Participants will be provided option for evaluation in local language
It will be a joint certification provided by Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad, Mindtree Foundation and Edunet Foundation
Following broad level criteria will be leveraged for certification.
  • Overall Attendance levels more than 70%
  • Participant successfully score 70% in the overall assessment
  • Participant successfully completes the project internship and submits a project report

Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to receive the placement form. The program will provide opportunities for students to apply for jobs. Selection of students for jobs will be subject to performance of students in selection process
